This painting captures the beauty of Italy by the renowned Italian landscape artist, Giovanni Casadei. Imagine being transported to Italy on a daily basis by unique vistas from an acclaimed native artist. In Giovanni's words: "The inspiration for this paining comes from the history of the place and the nature surrounding it."

Hang this work of gorgeous, uniquely Italian art in your home, workspace or office.

About the artist. Giovanni Casadei is a celebrated Italian painter and teacher, specializing in “en plein air”. He studied at the Academy of Art in Rome, with recognized Armenian artist, Alfonso Avanessian, and the prominent American painter, Seymour Remenick. Giovanni's approach to landscape painting is to communicate his love for life through the expression of emotions and passions inspired by the visual world around him. He captures meaningful moments of experience with the light, color, and visual abstractions of nature. Giovanni’s works have been shown and sold in his adopted home of Philadelphia and around the world for over 20 years.

About the handmade frame. Giovanni says: "I want all my paintings to be displayed in museum quality frames to both enhance the viewing experience and decorate the home or room in which they’re placed. My handmade frames are the result of 26 years of practice in achieving the  perfect frame. After years of studying frame architecture from master framers working in the very best museums, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, I developed my own style based on the Renaissance process of frame making. I use a master molding maker to cut the profiles of the frames, which are gilded in imitation gold or silver, and undergo a 15-step process to make them look aged and beautiful."
