This delightful Tote Bag was hand-printed with the traditional block printing technique used by “Antica Stamperia Carpegna”, a historic work shop tucked away in the small village of Carpegna in the Marche region in central Italy.
The design printed on this Tote Bag was created by my sister, Anna, whose artistic talent and her passion for “The Little Prince” lead to the creation of this adorable bag. The drawing represents the gate of our summer home in the town of Pesaro, on the Adriatic coast. The number on the gate, B612, is the number of The Little Prince’s planet and the fox is a main character in Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s famous book and an ever-present character in Anna's watercolors.

About Anna Kathryn Chiti:
My sister Anna is a born artist. Even as a little girl she spent hours and hours drawing, coloring and painting which led her to gain a degree in Fine Arts. Anna is the author of the book "Le secret du renard - Anna, Antoine e Il Piccolo Principe" (The Secret of the Fox - Anna, Antoine and The Little Prince) beautifully illustrated by Anna herself. The book describes her personal journey in achieving her extensive collection of Saint-Exupéry's works, along with a detailed description of the author's personal life and a chapter-by-chapter analysis of "The Little Prince". The book is now being translated from Italian to English.
