Born under a bright Sicilian sun, Tommaso Pantè was destined to be a guide to his beloved Sicily. At eighteen, he left home with his backpack and a smile to see the world. He lived, studied, and worked abroad for many years, but in 1999 returned to Milazzo and became a fully licensed Tour Guide. He is now widely recognized as one of Sicily’s premier guides. Though not formally trained as a chef, Tommaso grew up in a traditional Sicilian home in Milazzo (Province of Messina), so cooking is in his blood. His memories of being in the kitchen or at the table with his mother, Mamma Pina constantly encourages him to increase his knowledge of Sicilian cuisine and wines.
